Our History

Z&J Roofing was established in March of 2016. Being such a young company it was impressive on how fast the company started growing in the Spruce Grove area. Alex and Jenn sat down one day and started discussing the hopes and dreams of their family, and decided that in order for them to focus so much on their family and to continue growing as a company that they should move to Lethbridge. In doing so they’ve been able to set up the foundation for their children’s lives to grow up close to their grandparents. Z&J Roofing strongly believes in providing a service that every family can benefit from. A new roof installed to manufacturers specs, but also a new relationship that can bless you for years to come.

Alex Roberts Journeyman Roofer

Alex moved him, his wife Jenn, oldest son Broncent, and youngest son Liam from the Edmonton area to be closer to their large family here in the surrounding Lethbridge area. They recently welcomed Nolan to the family. Family is the most important motivation for Alex to strive for his best. He quickly put his years of roofing experience, Roofing Journeyman Certificate, and leadership experience from the community to start his own business. Using part of his nickname (Zenner) and his wife’s name, the company of Z&J Roofing was born. Through his church Alex has served a two-year mission to South America, role-modeling as a Youth Mentor, and led a variety of religious classes.

Alex attests his personal and business success to practicing these powerful values with daily, and putting his hands to hard-work.

Jenn Roberts Office Manager

Jenn was raised just outside of Glenwood, Alberta where her parents raised 7 hardworking and family oriented kids. She graduated from high school in Cardston, then went on to be certified in massage therapy. A skill which serves her family well. After having spent most of the last 7 years in the Edmonton area she’s happy to call southern Alberta home again. Jenn is now a stay at home mom to their three boys who keep her on her toes! She’s grateful to be able to be at home with her kids, and to help support Alex in his work.
