Our History

Zen & Jenn Roofing was established in March of 2016. Being such a young company it was impressive on how fast the company started growing in the Spruce Grove area. Alex and Jenn sat down one day and started discussing the hopes and dreams of their family, and decided that in order for them to focus so much on their family and to continue growing as a company that they should move to Lethbridge. In doing so they’ve been able to set up the foundation for their children’s lives to grow up close to their grandparents. Zen & Jenn Roofing strongly believes in providing a service that every family can benefit from. A new roof installed to manufacturers specs, but also a new relationship that can bless you for years to come.

Alex Roberts  Journeyman Roofer

Alex was born in Ontario, but grew up in Alberta. He comes from a family of 12: 7 boys, 3 girls, and 2 parents. Family has always been an important part of his life. Alex served a 2 year mission with his church in the country of Bolivia. After returning he dated a girl who became his wife. Alex and Jenn were wed in the summer of 2009, and have been happily married since. They have two boys, with plans for more. Alex attended NAIT for the Journeymen Roofer program. He gained most of his roofing experience working for a company based out of Spruce Grove. Once Alex began managing crews, organizing and estimating jobs, he felt ready to open Z&J Roofing Ltd. He is now able to offer years of experience and great hands-on knowledge about your roofing project.

Jenn Roberts  Office Manager

Jenn was raised just outside of Glenwood, Alberta where her parents have raised 7 hardworking and family oriented kids. She graduated from high school in Cardston, then went on to be certified in massage therapy. A skill which serves her family well. After having spent most of the last 7 years in the Edmonton area she’s happy to call southern Alberta home again. Jenn is now a stay at home mom to their two boys who keep her on her toes!  She’s grateful to be able to be at home with her kids, and to help support Alex in his work.
